Mook creates and produces objects made with recovered materials, unique pieces born by collecting and assembling material which has been "dumped by the time". Woods worn out by the sea, pieces of old doors or furniture and fabrics and metallic parts of mechanisms that nobody uses anymore... they are recomposed following the rules of artistic recycling until sculptures and usable objects are obtained.
Mook was born from a project of Carlo Nannetti and Francesca Crisafulli. They both live and work in Rome where they graduated, and now they teach at the European Institute for Design. Their artistic activity ranges from illustration to design, to the realization of cinema and theatre scenography, to the set-up of exhibitions and events, up to the creation of laboratories for kids on the themes of art and recycling.
