Riccardo Guasco is a painter and illustrator based in Italy. He researches the lightness of form and color of the heat and he does it with a few colors and simple lines. He loves old posters of the 30’s, Picasso, Depero, Feininger, the Russian suprematism, Cubism and heroic cyclists of old times. His illustrations appear on advertising campaigns, magazines, books, hats and bicycles. He’s happy to have worked with The New Yorker, Los Angeles Magazine, Eni, Diesel, Longines, Greenpeace, Emergency, Campo Viejo, Rapha, Thames & Hudson, Rai, Poste Italiane, L'Espresso, Vogue, Architectural Digest. The elephant is his first picture book.
